The week kicked off with a massage at Bliss Spa, and I carried the relaxation theme throughout the week.
This weekend meant enjoying drinks outside during the beautiful Friday weather, getting a manicure, catching the Great Gatsby at the Ziegfeld theater (so glamorous – one of my favorites!), and then getting drinks at Middle Branch. We tried to carry the Gatsby/speakeasy theme with the custom cocktails.
I love this print – it’s so happy and perfect for spring! I have my eye on the pieces below and can’t wait to add them to my J. Crew collection.
This week was all about being comfortable. I wore my new navy and cream J. Crew and a super soft tiered Pieces dress.
The weekend means ripped boyfriend jeans with my J. Crew Perfect shirt and one of my favorite Zara jackets.
I bought a pair of printed wide leg silk pants from Zara last year, and I wore them all spring and summer. Wide leg pants are a chic, effortless way to look pulled together but still feel comfortable.
This week was a crazy one work-wise. I took every opportunity to relax after work and during the weekend: mani/pedi, Bliss Massage, dinner with a girlfriend, and trying Blue Moon’s agave nectar ale.
I had a work lunch with a vendor at the Tommy Bahama restaurant on fifth avenue – it was delicious! The decor was beachy and relaxing; I forgot that I was in New York City for a few hours.
I had the cucumber royale cocktail (Hendrick’s, muddled cucumber, St-Germain Elderflower, and prosecco) and the fist tacos (tomato relish, chipotle aioli, asian slaw, and lime sour cream) and the most amazing coconut custard with fried plantains.
